Congratulations, there is officially only one week left until the launch of the long awaited iPhone 3G. I for one am very excited, I know you are too. Right Bruce? I didn’t think I could last this long without my iPhone. In reality it’s only been a short 6 weeks out of my life, but it seems like it has been much much longer. If you didn’t know I had the series before this that was 3 weeks without my iPhone. It just turned into a much longer wait than three weeks. It’ll be like June 29th all over again in only one week. But after all of this is over I was thinking last night, maybe I could live the rest of my life without an iPhone. So today I announce that I will be NOT getting the iPhone 3G… ONLY KIDDING!! Of course I’m getting it! By the way if you read this let me know what you think. Are you getting the new iPhone, sticking with your current iPhone, or even going in to get a “hand me down?” Leave a comment and let me know.
In other announcements for anyone that is around the St. James, Rolla, Cuba, etc.. area and wants to go with me to get their iPhone 3G please let me know and let’s carpool together. It’s the green way to go get an iPhone 3G, and we can become friends if we aren’t already. Either comment here or drop me an email AT ryan@firethecannon.com THANKS!
So today in the news there isn’t too much about the iPhone. Apple is exploring new ways to interact with a multi-touch device. Fingertips, fingernails and all. Sadly though it won’t make it in time to come to the iPhone 3G. Optus came out with it already, and shed some light on their iPhone 3G pricing. Are they reasonable, or like Rogers all over again? All in all a semi quite day on anything you would need to know about the newest iPhone.
Now let’s take our minds off of this gorgeous, flickable, and perhaps lickable device and focus on somethinge else. The great sport of juggling! Juggling has been spreading on the internet lately, but in quite a new form than you would normally think of as juggling. It’s been named, contact juggling. Contact juggling means just as the name says. Instead of throwing your items to juggle into the air, you stay in contact with what you are juggling in this version of it. In contact juggling you really don’t see people with chainsaws, bowling pins, or knives, but rather a simple glass or acrylic orb. Most contact jugglers I have seen only use one orb. Many though have worked in multiple orbs into their routines. Now I am a noob at juggling I can juggle three bean bags, rocks, whathaveyous at once. That’s as far as I can go, but take a look at these videos below to see some incredible juggling. If the videos inspire you to learn how here are some resource on regular juggling, and the newly popular contact juggling.
Those should give you plenty of insight on how to get those balls flying, haha. Not a dirty joke btw!
Now here are some awesome videos I’ve seen on YouTube of these ball handlers. Not a dirty joke either btw…

I used to have a book about juggling. I got it at a book fair in elementary school, and I’m trying to find it to learn more juggling techniques.
